BlakeMarc > My hernia got worse after arriving in Thailand. Althought it was still bearable, i had to get it operated on before going to Cambodia, Laos, or Vietnam. It is possible it could have got worse again and then i would need emergency surgery, but the hospitals in those countries are not good.
BlakeMarc > So it has been a few days since the surgery and i am feeling a lot better now. The pain at first was crazy, probably the worst i have ever felt. But it quickly got better each day. We are going to head to Ko Chang tomorrow or the next day and relax there for a few days. After that Cambodia is right next door to the East and thats where we are going!
BlakeMarc > Pattaya Beach, in the off-season, just thick with boat! Long beach too!this was a tiny beach village in the late 60's when u.s. g.i.'s started coming here from vietnam for r&r. IT IS NOW THAILANDS # 2 BEACH CITY.AND A WORLD DESTINATION FOR R&R
